14 April - Laurent breaks a record

Laurent C, who brought the contact with Autour des Williams 4 years ago, is now ranked the best individual collector on the AiderDonner website, with 5 410 € collected on the Paris Marathon alone.

Thanks to him and to the other 35 runners who took the time to collect and advertise, we now have passed the 50 000 € collected on 5 marathons. And we are expecting a nice surprise, we hope very soon.

13 April - more than 49 000 € for the 5 marathons

This week-end, runners were not the only ones to break records ! More than 4 000 € were donated in two days ! We now reach 20 000 € for the sole Paris Marathon (with no accounting of Commerzbank’s donation) and 49 000 € for the whole 5 marathons.

Un immense merci à vous tous d’avoir porté les couleurs de l’association lors du Marathon de Paris! Vraiment merci!

Un immense bravo également d’avoir relevé le défi, vraiment BRAVO!!!!

Merci également d’avoir jouer le jeu, d’avoir sollicité tous vos proches, amis, réseaux pour lever des fonds pour l’association, des fonds que nous utiliserons pour la recherche sur le syndrome de williams.

Un grand merci à Christophe d’avoir été un très beau porte parole hier à la télévision sur BFM et sur France 3 ! Vous étiez très beaux tous en arriere plan sur BFM! Vraiment vous avez formé une équipe incroyable.

Et puis un merci tout spécial à toi Laurent, sans qui cette exceptionnelle aventure n’aurait pas pu voir le jour! Vraiment du fond du coeur merci !

Merci à tous pour votre temps, pour votre energie, pour votre sourrire et pour votre générosité.

Pour l’association c’est juste une aventure incroyable, une chance enorme de rencontrer des personnes aussi extraordinaires que vous et d’avoir de l’argent que nous pourrons donner aux chercheurs qui travaillent tous les jours dans l’ombre pour faire avancer la recherche médicale!

Pour conclure, en tant que maman, j’ai toujours un peu plus de mal à exprimer ce que je ressens, mais je vous assure, que je suis émue, très émue, pour Marius, pour tous ses copains qui ont le même syndrome, de voir que grace à une solidarité comme la votre, chaque jour, on avance pour les aider non seulement à grandir, mais aussi à faire que dans notre société, on ne soit plus indifférent à la différence!

Hello to all,
tomorrow morning, runners will meet before the marathon departure at 8AM at 27 avenue de Friedland (from there really easy to join the departure). Try to come as numerous as you can for
- the group picture
- journalists’ interviews (we will have at least France 3 and BFM TV)

They had been a big support for the London Marathon (donating 7 000 € for the Autour des Williams association), they are supporting us one more time for the Paris Marathon : Commerzbank will donate a good amount of money to Autour des Williams. We thank them for their support in this European, humanitarian and collective challenge !
